Convert Files to Markdown

Convert documents into clean Markdown that AI language models can read more efficiently than raw .docx or .pdf files. Supports .txt, .md, .html, .docx, .pdf (including scanned PDFs via in-browser OCR), and .rtf. The output appears in an editable textarea so you can refine it before copying or downloading as a .md file. Built-in find-and-replace (with case-sensitive, whole-word, and regex modes) lets you quickly redact names, IDs, emails, or any other sensitive information before sharing the text with an LLM. Optional post-processing options collapse whitespace, repair words split by hyphenated line breaks, strip repeated PDF headers and footers, and remove URLs or image syntax. Everything runs locally in your browser — your documents are never uploaded.
